The Sudanese painter and printmaker Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aal with his old magnificent proof press "furnival reddish & London 1920" modified to print in highly performance, Etching, Lithography, collagraphy, intaglio and monoprint.

Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aal printmaking is attached to the Aestheticals components of the Sudanese culture Araboislamic African background.

This subtlety of tonal process, lines, Drawings, textures, involved in series of images generated one from other, but each work in this procedure has its own character in limited edition.
Over his long career, the printmaking of this Sudanese artist represents the application of his leading method called "Aesthetic of idea and shape".
As a professor in the college of fine and applied art in Khartoum/ Sudan,
Dr. Abdel Aal has developed an excellent experience in the department of graphics, where his students expressed the originality and richness of their cultural identity in a creative imagery.
